Ski resort Plan de Corones
Plan de Corones (2275m) features Italy’s most modern ropeways and 100km of top-notch runs of various lengths and grade of difficulty, which offer breathtaking panoramic views all along. Cross-country skiing
In San Vigilio you should also grasp the chance to try cross-country skiing. The 12km-long Marebbe Valley, which leads from San Vigilio into the Nature Park Fanes Senes Braies, is the most beautiful place to practice this most enchanting sport. Circular interconnected track sections in all lenghts, the longest stretching over 24km, provide the ideal practice terrain for skiers of all levels of expertise. 

Winter walks
There is nothing more enchanting than hiking through the snow-cowered winter landscape. In San Vigilio, the most beautiful paths in the immediate vicinity of the village are groomed to allow walkers to savour this unique experience without difficulty. Especially on sunny days it is a real pleasure to set out on a discovery trip around San Vigilio to view the farms, high hillsides, forest streets and the theme path dedicated to the legend of Fanes. 

Skiing lessons

 Do you want to learn to ski or improve your skiing technique? Then we advise you some lessons with our family ski instructor Comploi Carlo (Carlo II), expert ski instructor since 1995 and member of the Italian Skischool S. Vigilio di Marebbe, Director of the same School from 2006 until 2012. With him you will ski on the slops of the Plan de Corones ski area and on request a ski trip on the slops of the Dolomiti Superski ski area.
